Blue Cog Software

We're excited to announce the launch of the new Blue Cog Software website!

This project took a dated personal portfolio site and turned it into a credible B2B presence for a software engineering consultancy working in safety-critical industries — delivered end to end, brand included, in just 3 months.

About the Project

Blue Cog Software is a Canadian software engineering consultancy based in Acton, Ontario, specializing in software architecture and development for regulated and safety-critical industries — medical devices, nuclear energy, oil & gas, automotive and robotics.

The project combined a full website redesign with a brand refresh, including a redesigned logo and a new style guide built from scratch. The site was rebuilt in Webflow around a clear B2B buyer journey — Home, Services, Industries, Case Studies, About and Contact — with CMS-driven collections powering 8 individual service pages and 5 case studies from reusable templates. A dedicated "Book a Consultation" flow became the primary conversion path, replacing a weak contact form.

Compliance and foundations were scoped in from the start rather than bolted on: GDPR/CCPA cookie consent via Termly, privacy documentation, ADA accessibility, technical SEO and page speed optimization. Handover included written documentation and a live client workshop, so the team can publish new services and case studies without developer support.

The result is a modern, conversion-focused website that finally communicates the precision and reliability its client's work is built on.
